I'm a fan of the November cd, too. I have to say, though, that aside from introducing me to some new artists, these cds are actually helping me narrow down my long list of songs for my own cd (oh yes, I've started it, too). It's kind of funny; so far it seems that we like a lot of the same artists, or at least styles of music. After the November cd, I thought, "Oop, there go Regina Spektor, Feist, and Sufjan Stevens from my list..." Definitely no hard feelings, but it seems clear that there must be some music similarities among NPR listeners. I'm looking forward to the December cd. If what I said above is actually true, I'll bet Mariah Carey's Christmas classics won't make the cut. :)

I got the November mix in the mail last week. I'm loving The Hold Steady. I also like Sufjan Stevens. I saw them on Austin City Limit last month and was excited to see them on your mix.
